He was an undergraduate in Nong Lam University, HCMC, Vietnam, majoring in medical biotechnology. He earned his MS.c degree in Preventive Veterinary Medical Sciences from Chungnam National University, South Korea. Over the years, he has had the big desire in pursuing studies to further his experience in the field on the mucosal vaccine. Through the constant and assiduous effort, he was an international student internship in University of Tsukuba, Japan and experienced in studying abroad on two separate occasions, specified as Research Assistant and Junior Scientist at Chonnam National University Medical School and Chungnam National University, South Korea respectively.
Immunology and vaccinology are two academic subjects that he feels the most interesting and satisfying. He has immersed what he has been learning in these fields at domestic and overseas institutes. Specifically, he had concentrated on studying mucosal administration of H5N2/HA1 surface-displayed Lactobacillus casei which enhances humoral and cell-mediated immune responses against avian influenza virus infection in mice during the time staying in South Korea. Currently, he is working as Research Assitant on the project of B7-H1 protein vaccine inducing protective and therapeutic anti-tumor responses in Laboratory of Infectious Diseases, Chungnam National University, South Korea. In September 2019, he becomes a Ph.D. candidate in Vrije University, Amsterdam, The Netherlands with the study related to the potency of Salmonella typhimurium-based vaccine vectors, including live attenuated bacteria and derived outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) to produce an effective vaccine against Chlamydia trachomatis.
